About Me

Finding the right therapist is an important part of the journey, and I want to give you a sense of who I am and what it might feel like to work together. Below, you’ll find a little more about me and my approach to therapy.

If you have any questions, I'd love to connect.

Finding the Right Therapist

Maybe you’re here because you’re navigating something difficult. Or perhaps you’re looking for growth—personally, professionally, or in ways that are still taking shape.

Whatever brought you here, I want to welcome you.

One of the most important parts of therapy is finding a therapist who feels like the right fit. The relationship matters—because healing happens in spaces where you feel safe, supported, and understood.

If I had to describe what that looks like, I’d say:

💡 A good therapist is someone who...

✔ Creates a space where you feel seen, heard, and valued.
✔ Meets you with warmth, curiosity, and respect.
✔ Helps you explore your experiences at a pace that feels right for you.
✔ Helps you reconnect with your own resilience and wisdom, so healing feels like coming home to yourself.

✔ Walks alongside you in healing, in growth, in reclaiming your agency.
✔ Holds space for you—not to “fix” you, but to support your process.
✔ Has the training and experience to guide you toward meaningful change.
✔ Honours your autonomy—your path, your pace, your choices.

Therapy isn’t just about the techniques—it’s about having a space where you feel safe enough to explore, grow, and heal at your own pace. If this speaks to you, I’d love to connect when the time feels right.

My Space

Therapy should feel like a place where you can breathe—where you don’t have to perform, filter yourself, or worry about being judged.

I work hard to create a space where you feel safe enough to show up as you are, whether that means untangling the hard stuff, exploring new possibilities, or simply having room to think, feel, and be.

I know that deep healing happens when you feel truly seen, heard, and understood. That’s where empowerment begins—not in being “fixed,” but in having the support to reconnect with your own wisdom and strength.

I also believe therapy doesn’t have to feel heavy all the time. Healing is human work, and being human means making space for laughter, lightness, and real connection along the way.

My Approach to Change

I believe people are incredibly resilient. Even in the hardest of circumstances, we find ways to survive, adapt, and keep moving forward. But resilience doesn’t mean you have to do it alone—sometimes, the weight is too much, or the support isn’t there when it’s needed most. That’s where therapy can make a difference.

My role is to offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can slow down, get curious, and reconnect with what you need.

I don’t see people as “problems to be solved.” I see the full picture—your history, your context, the strengths you already carry. My goal is never to push an agenda, but to support you in finding clarity, healing, and a way forward that feels right for you.

My Work Experience

For the past 10+ years, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside people as they navigate healing, growth, and life’s inevitable changes.

I find myself especially drawn to working with:
Young adults navigating self-discovery, relationships, and major life transitions.
Trauma survivors healing from PTSD, complex trauma, and past wounds.

If any of this resonates with you, I’d love to connect and explore whether working together feels like the right fit.

Personal Experience with Counselling

I understand firsthand how vulnerable it can feel to ask for help. My own journey with therapy was life-changing—it gave me the support, clarity, and growth I didn’t even realize I needed at the time.

That experience is what ultimately led me to become a therapist—it was my way of paying it forward. Seeking professional support was one of the most valuable investments I’ve ever made in my well-being, personal growth, and professional development.

I know that taking the first step can feel daunting. But I also know this: You don’t have to navigate life’s hardest moments alone.
